Hand Carved Medal (Same Weight as Silver 50c 12.4g) Ship on Water,Unknown Origin

This unique hand-carved silver medal weighs 12.4 grams which is exactly the same as a US 90% Silver Half Dollar, which leads us to believe that it was sculpted out of one. The diameter has been reduced to 2.7 cm. There are no other markings on this piece so it remains a mystery to us as to who created it. The design is a sailing ship on the water.
