This Souvenir Card is from the 33rd Annual Suburban Washington/Baltimore Coin and Currency Show in Baltimore Convention Center on August 12-14, 2005. This Souvenir Card features one 1800's Era $50 Issue Bank Note from The Hagerstown Bank, Hagerstown, Maryland.
Chartered in 1808, The Hagerstown Bank began issuing bank notes in 1814 to help supplement the change shortage. This attractive bank note was issued in the 1836-1850 era, and depicts a very interesting scene of cherubs and a small sailing boat. Only 500 of these Souvenir Cards were issued.
