This Souvenir Card is from the 11th Fall Suburban Washington/Baltimore Coin and Currency Show in Baltimore Convention Center on November 30 - December 2, 2001. This Souvenir Card features one 1830's Era $5 Issue Bank Note.
A Proof $5 note issued November 18, 1846 by the Havre-de-Grace Bank, of Havre-de-Grace, Maryland. This very attractive note depicts Maidens and Cherubs with ornate "5's" in the center. Engraved by Rawdon, Wright & Hatch, New York. The bank was chartered in 1815 and liquidated in 1821. The bank re-opened again in 1844 but failed in 1850. Only 500 of these Souvenir Cards were issued.
