This Token engraved by G.H. Lovett was issued in 1886 to commemorate the Bicentennial Anniversary of the founding of Albany, New York. This obverse of this coin features a depiction of Pieter Schuyler receiving the Charter for Albany from Governor Thomas Dongan with Robert Livington standing to the Governor's left on July 22, 1689. The reverse features the Albany Crest with a ship above it and the Albany motto "Assiduity" below.
